Today, Mommy had a regular OB visit that turned into a trip down to Labor and Delivery. When I got there, my blood pressure was high and it got even higher after being there for a while. Since it was nearly 4 on a Friday afternoon and more tests were needed, I had to get admitted to the hospital to have them run. They were worried I had developed Pre-Eclampsia or had a Pulmonary Embolism. After some blood tests and an EKG, one of the tests came back a little off. The doctor ordered a CT scan to rule out a blood clot in my lungs. After 6 hours, my BP had finally come down and all tests were clear, they sent us home. At 26 weeks, lets hope this is the last trip to L&D for a while!
